“Hoot Together!”

This layout I had fun with this afternoon! I didn’t feel like doing a set criteria with a challenge. This was just a mish mash of pics I had of the boys and their pups and I just wanted to get them scraped!!!  I used a sketch form this new place I have just recently found that has lots of double layout sketches!

http://letsscrap.ning.com/

I have just had printed 100 photos and I just need to have some ‘me time’ scraping I think!!!

I used some pattern papers that I got from Paperrific earlier in the yr, stamped some embellishments and the two tags ar from Jacqui and Sheryn form a tag swap I had on my blog awhile ago! It was good to use some of the stash!!!!

“Meeting New Friends!”

Amy B is on he left and Amy G and Xander on the right!

Yesterday I met an online friend” in real life” (IRL) for the first time which was fabulous and got to see my other on-line friend again!  Amy, her husband and little bub came over from NSW for her aunts funeral and they stopped in Colac for a break on the way home!  It is great to meet someone when you have got to know them online! I felt like we knew one another already.

I had a lovely catch up with Amy Grantham and Amy Boreham who drove over from Geelong! Yep, they are both Amy’s lol!!!  They are both so lovely to talk too and we could have talked for hrs! lol!  I even saw my cousin for 5 mins who was on her way back to Warrnambool!

I snapped a few photos of course, and I have emailed them to the girls!  Amy B and I are going to have a scrap day together very soon!

“Treasured Journey!”

This lo I finished last night for H & S. This was Karen’s challenge to use her sketch, masking, butterflies and distressing! I wanted to scrap these pics of J and I when I took him to Camperdown for a cars show. I wanted it to have an old feel about it so I used some Kaiser papers, masking, distressing, tickets, twine etc !I enjoyed doing this one of us having a day out together! He had a wonderful time seeing the old classic cars over there too! Ahh the things we do! lol!

“Lovely Lisa’s Kits!”

I know I have posted about Lisa Kamphius and her lovely kits before, but I am sooo wrapped with my new ones that I spoilt myself with I wanted to show you again!

She uses pattern papers from Bo Bunny and My Minds Eye and lovely cardstock and embellishments to match in and make yourself some lovely layouts and cards etc! They are great value at $10 each and she only charges you $7  post no matter how many kits you buy!!!

I purchased 2 boyish kits and 3 girly/heritage kits and I am looking forward to making some lovely layouts with all my goodies!

No, I am not getting paid for putting this on my blog for her, I just love her kits and their value and want to share a great buy with you!

Pop on over to

“Paper Problems!”

Do you have ‘paper problems”?

I do at the moment with a big mix up of my pattern papers and card stock in two baskets and not being able to find anything!

Being in these baskets they take up alot of room and Willo our pup has decided she wants to try and take them out on me!  Teeth marks are a good look for distressing! lol!

As you can see they are pretty out of order and mixed up! not good at for saving time! I decided to have rethink and I purchased two Vertical paper holders which make a big difference on space!

So below is my re-vamped paper stash!  I have my kits and A4 card stock in the basket and the paper holders have my card stock and pattern papers!

Now I need to replenish my card stock. or stop scrap booking!  Haha, not going to happen! Hopefully will be able to get some this weekend at the Craft Show in Melbourne!  TFL 🙂 Kerri x

“I love You More Than….!”

I finished this lo of my baby son for Heather’s Rainbow Challenge over at the CC at Home and Scraped over the weekend!

For the challenge you need to use the rainbow colors in sequence on your page! I did this by using the ribbon bows down the side of the photos!

These pics were of JJ and he was only a few months old!

We were visiting Gran and to save her dragging out the bassinet she made him a little bed in the wash basket for the time we were there! I think he loved it!

I masked a few Glimmermist colors around the page to soften it up and made the little bow banner on the bottom!

I thought the title was appropriate for the theme of the layout! I am very happy with my page!

“What I have been up to….”

These are my new Sizzix Bigz 3D Flower Dies that I put my voucher  towards that I won at Challenge Heaven!

I have been cutting up my scraps into flowers to glue together! There is two sizes which is great!

This is the sandwich to use in the Cuttlebug!

Plate B, Die, paper, then plate B on top!  It wont go through using plate A as it is a big die

I had a go at cutting paper, card stock, vellum and felt! It cuts  like a dream!

These are the two different size flowers it cuts and then you just roll and glue them! Sooo cute!

These are the finished product all rolled up and glued!  I made them from card stock, pattern papers, felt, vellum, book pages and music sheets! I got a fair bit of scraps used up which is always a bonus!

I attached a few pearls to some of them and sat a few of them on doilies! I could put some Distress Stickles on them for a bit of bling!

You can make these easily by hand to by cutting out spirals and winding them up!

“Finished Build a Page!’

This is my finished layout from the Build a Page I had going at Home and Scraped!

There is a Cyber Crop on this weekend so go and check out the great challenges!

Here are the instructions if you would like to do a page!

Friday 15th – Amy G   Step 1 – Make a border 3″ x 11″ from scrap papers and adhere .5 from the top and bottom of your base.

Saturday 16th – Ange – Step 2  – Place a 12 inch scalloped strip horizontally just under half way. About 2 1/2 inches deep. Doodle, ink, distress how you wish.

Sunday 17th – Kerri – Step 3–  Make a cute banner and put it in the top right handish corner to suit your theme!!!

Monday 18th – Mary B- Step 4 –I would like you to do is add your photo mat for your pic . I have double matted , distressed and inked mine.

Tuesday 19th – Kim – Step 5 – Place a large embellishment grouping to the lower left of the photo matt.

Wednesday 20th – Heather – Step 6 -Place your title on the right hand side of the photo, either vertical or horizontal, whatever suits your page.

Thursday 21st – Melody – Step 7  Add a journal tag to the left of the photo so it is sitting right in the middle of your large embellishment, but make sure the journal tag isn’t too big.  Now journal on your tag and attach it to the middle of your large embellishment.

I had this pic of J in about Yr 3 and every morning he would say to Willo! “I’ll be home soon!”  sooo cute!

“Are These Just Cute or What!”

That is what I said yesterday after I spent an hour at Time Zone with the boys yesterday in Geelong!  They hadn’t been there for ages and I did’t mind laughing at them playing games to their heart’s content!

They played for an unlimited hour and they got their moneys worth! With the points they had racked up they said I could spend them on something! Aaaawh aren’t they sweet! Hope you aren’t vomiting! lol!  They are pink and pens so I grabbed them and they adorn my desk and brighten it up!!

Of course I have some photos of them playing but they are on my phone and for some reason I can’t down load them! Will be checking out why tmorrow at our local shop! I was going to take the camera but thought na!

Not much scraping at the moment, gearing up for the CC at Home and Scraped this weekend!  we have nearly finished our BAP so will post the finished lo tmorrow!

I bought hot glue gun yesterday so I can try some new flowers. I havent got normal glue strong enough to hold them in place.  I received my flower dies and paper holders from Made With Suzanne, which I put my Voucher towards yesterday.  Now I can  sort out my papers and make some flowers with the dies in my Cuttlebug also!  So thinking I might have a fun busy weekend!!!
