This layout I created for my lovely friend Jacqui Miles! This is Olivia her little girl who just turned two! I couldn’t resist these gorgeous photos of her in her fairy costume and I had to make it girly!
I made the flower garland for a challenge at Home and Scrapped to use up some left over flowers in my stash to make a garland across the page! I did acc spell her name wrong but I have fixed it! ( doh!)
I really enjoyed making this for Jacqui and if you are reading this Miss I am posting it of to you tomorrow! I hope it cheers you up and makes you feel a bit better! love K xx
This birthday canvas for my good friend Sheryn, I ‘whipped” up Friday night!
I knew how I wanted to scrap it but do you think I could get it right! I had a damn mess by the end of it deciding on colours and papers! I ended up printing the photo in Sepia and I think that made it a bit easier! I enjoyed making it and she loved it when I gave it to her last night! It was a good photo of the four of us from our Girls Night In!
I used bits and pieces of papers and ink etc from my stash and I had to use some of the lovely Born 2 Creations kit from Chris Wormald! You can see her lovely flowers and kits over at http://www.born2create.ning.com

I was invited yesterday by Kath at http://www.chookscraps.com.au to participate in their free on line class last night! After a big nite Sat I wasnt sure if I was up to it! It was a great ‘use your stash’ layout she had us make and I thougoughly enjoyed doing the class with her and I learnt a couple of new tricks also! I have been involved with some of their challenges and Cyber Crops and they are a lovley bunch of ladies!
This was just a photo of Cody I wanted to scrap and this lo seemed the chance to do it! We distress, inked, doodled and tore into the layout and it was soo much fun!
Just had to share with you the fabulous “Girls Nite In’ that we had at my place last nite and we raised $110 for women’s Cancer Research! Mary, Sheryn, Kerrie, Lisa and I had a great night with plenty of food, drinks, laughter and even a few tears! We all get on so well, we are just like sisters! Yes, we even managed to do a bit of craft in between all that! hehe! A couple of ladies that planned to come couldnt at the last moment and we all know things don’t quite go to plan!
We all wore pink and had pink balloons and lollies and they loved the ATC’s I made them! We also had a couple of door prizes!
I would also like to thank Heather from our local “Pick and Mix” Lolly and Party supplies shop for her kind donation to my nite, of balloons and lollies for everyone! She is a great lady and has a wonderful shop here in Colac for all your sweet tooth needs!
The girls had fun as you can see by the photos having ago at the “Shaving Cream” or “Marbling Technique, and boy did they ‘puddle!’ They also had a go at the Baby Wipe Swipe Technique and the baby wipe stamping technique! They produced some lovely stamping and marbling pieces to use on their own projects!
We also finally got around to making their really cute ‘house ATC’s”. they did a great job on them!
Thanks girls for making my “Girls Nite In” a nite I think we will remember in yrs to come and I am looking forward to making next yrs even better for you all! xx
