“June Blind Scrap!”

Where has the month gone! It is Cyber Crop time this weekend over at Scrapbook Savvy and last night was Sara’s Blind Scrap!

This is fun following her steps and making a layout! The fun part is you don’t know what it is supposed to look like

until she uploads her example later in the week ๐Ÿ™‚ It is great to see how everyone interprets her instructions ๐Ÿ™‚

049 There were some fun steps, but nothing too difficult. A bit of

misting, layering, washi tape, journaling and embellishments and ‘hey presto’ a layout done ๐Ÿ™‚

I wanted to scrap this photo of mum and I at Xmas time. I was mucking around trying to take a ‘selfie’ of us on my phone.ย  I used some of my Dylsuions inks on the background, some fabric tape instead of washi and some embellishments from my Basic Grey ‘Plumeria’ collection. This was just a fun day, just hanging out and being with mum. She was enjoying herself! It is hard to believe she has been in care 7 months already!

Why don’t you hop on over to the blog and have ago at Sara’s Blind scrap, and the other great challenges the design team have for you. ๐Ÿ™‚ I know I will be doing some more creating today ๐Ÿ™‚

“A Layout or 2”

As I have to finish my module ready for school on Monday tmorrow, I have been making the most of a bit of scrap time today! A busy one with my sis down, a visit to mum and dad, finished off my Build A Page layout, created a page for Chloe’s Quote challenge for the Savvy CC on this weekend and now scraping on line with some girls doing the Blind Scrap ๐Ÿ™‚

003This is is my fun page from the Build A Page I have been doing all week with the girls @ http://homeandscrapped.ning.com/ย  I used distress stains, inks, stamps and texture paste to create the background, then built on to the page with washi tape, buttons, pp, and some faux sewing as I was too lazy to use my machine or hand sew ๐Ÿ™‚

011I had fun doing this one. Photos from Mum’s day this year and used Chloe’s quote in my title ๐Ÿ™‚ I misted the background and doilies, stamped, and used some chippy flowers and bird, with a thickers title ๐Ÿ™‚

“Scrapbook Savvy Blind Scrap”

This weekend is Scrapbook Savvy’s Cyber Crop and to start the weekend Sara hosts a Blind Scrap on their FB page ๐Ÿ™‚ย It was heaps on fun and of course doing it Blind with no photos along the way it is interesting to see how everyone interprets the instructions ๐Ÿ™‚

This is my layout I created last nite using Sar’s great instructions and I hope it looks something like hers ๐Ÿ™‚

002I used my Basic Grey ‘Clippings’ kit for this layout! I am very happy with the layout I made and was fun to scrap ๐Ÿ™‚

“89th Layout!!”

I was curious how many layouts I have managed to create this year and with this one for the Step By Step I have done 89!!!!! The way things have been going lately I was thinking getting 50 done would be awesome!!

They are a mixture of different layout sizes for my Book Of Me, Project 365 and our Family albums!!

This one was a fun one of Sam as he is such “A Poser” when I get the camera out! lol!!

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  I did a quick card too, so I used up some of the left overs!

Don’t forget to hop on over for a peek at the great challenge Suzanne and Sarah have created!!

Home & Scrapped Cyber Crop!

This weekend is our Cyber Crop over at Home & Scrapped! There is a Step By Step for you to join in and create a layout from Heather’s steps that are up in the forum and some great challenges set by our DT members! You can hop on-line with us have a chat and scrap!! ๐Ÿ™‚

My Challenge for you is to create a single or double page about food! Can be anything you like, a favorite recipe, a celebration what ever you want to scrap about!! The only criteria I would like you to include is to put your pattern paper and photos on an angle! ๐Ÿ™‚

I did a double layout as I wanted to use these 4×6 photos to tell the story of how my boys love baking things ‘from scratch’ as they say! They loved helping mum when they were little and when she was able to bake. It has been a fun part of their life spent with their Gran, and I wanted to document it! I used a photo of JJ when he was about 4 and one of him kneading the scone dough when he was older! I included the photo of our ingredients with my cook book and the finished Scones! ๐Ÿ™‚ I also added the recipe tucked in above one of the pics! ๐Ÿ™‚

I used some retired Cooking theme pp from Stampin’ Up! called Domestic Goddess and I made a banner and some pin wheels, stitched a scollop border and misted a couple of paper doilies and stamped the title! ๐Ÿ™‚

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  I also used the left overs to make another card!

I hope you hop on over and have a go at our challenges and get some scraping done this weekend! I hope to! ๐Ÿ™‚
