Over @ http://homeandscrapped.ning.com/ the lovely Heather has created a class for us to get us creating! Each day of Feb she posts a different challenge for us to get us motivated! 🙂 I am a bit behind as my life has interrupted me this week, but managed the first task yesterday! 🙂
Day one is to create a layout based on her example and have a go at some stamping! Of course this is right up my alley! 🙂
I used all Stampin’ Up! products for this as I had the Simply Stocking Stamp set and matching punch and hadn’t had a chance to use it yet! I stamped on a piece of Whisper White Card stock in Gumball Green, Cherry cobbler and Kiwi Kiss inks and cut it into sections, then layered on the Gumball Green cs.
I Used Cherry cobbler 12×12 as the base and used the Stocking Punch to punch the little stockings!! I wasn’t sure about this set when it first came came out, but I love it now!! 🙂
Some photos of the boys and I Xmas 2012! 🙂 I decided to create a double layout, using 4 photos and print them black and white as I knew the colors would be nice and bright! 🙂
This is a bit of a closie of the stocking banner I made and finished it off with some yummy Glimmer Brads! And the title is stamped with the Noteable alphabet!
Ok now to get on to the next challenge! 🙂

So happy, it is going to be amazing!!!
For the uninitiated, it is our biggest promotion of the year and there are 3 ways you can take advantage of what’s on offer. It runs from 22/1/2013 to 22/3/2013 🙂
Here are the 3 ways you can make the most of SAB 2013.
- As a customer, every $100 you spend will entitle you to pick a free product from the new SAB freebie catalogue. Catalogues are available from me, or you can view it online.
- As a Hostess, the SAB benefits are huge this year! Host a $300 workshop/party in your home this year between Jan 22nd and 22nd March, and you will receive your normal hostess benefits ($50 to spend on products of your choice) PLUS a pack of Silver Glimmer Paper. (This is to celebrate Stampin Up’s 25th Anniversary) BUT if you host a $600 party (easy to do in SAB!) then you will get the glimmer paper PLUS $100 to spend PLUS a half price item PLUS a product pack consisting of a SAB stamp set, the DSP, and the ribbon and button pack! That’s an additional 3 SAB items just for hostesses! Of course the benefits go up for even more successful workshops, but I think that is VERY cool! This is the best time of year to host a party!
- Join Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator during SAB and you will get and additional 25% value in your kit. That means for the small amount of $169, you will get to choose $294 worth of products! And they are your choice! Of course all the “normal” benefits apply… ongoing 20% discount, and access to lots of perks as a demonstrator. There is literally nothing to lose, but a LOT that can be gained.
So that’s a quick summary for you. I would love to help you get some of these great ‘FREEBIES’ on offer as they only come around once a year~
Feel free to contact me and I can send you a brochure to have in your hot little hand, place an order, or if you would like organised a workshop, you get to play with the new products!!
You can see the brochure online if you click the SAB image in my side bar! 🙂
Get in quick for all the new SU goodies!!! I certainly will be 🙂

I have been have a great weekend scraping away! Making the most of it before my study ticks around and it all comes to a halt! 🙂
It was nice and quiet here this arvo with big son at work and little son amusing himself as he does! 🙂
Heather is back from her holiday and she has another sketch up for us! 🙂 I am planning on doing all Heather’s sketches this yr! 🙂
This was a fun one, with a bit of layering, and stamping. I used some of the free pp with this months issue of Australian Scrapbook Ideas. They are very cute and thought they suited my cute pup photos! lol! 🙂 Our pups chewed there first baskets to bits and we never really worried about getting them new ones! As Willo sleeps on my bed at my feet, and I prob don’t sleep well knowing she is there. I decided to get her on the floor next to me. I bought them both a new soft bed and she loves it! She goes to her bed and snuggles in for the night and I don’t hear her, except when she snores! 🙂 That is why she is Miss spoilt!!!!

I had these photos from the day we went to Melbourne last March with my niece and her friends for her birthday! Thought I might like to use one of our new DSP from the 2013/14 Catalogue called Fan Fair to scrap them! I don’t think I will ever get to Paris so Melbourne will have to do! 🙂
This was a fun one to create, and I used some lovely flowers from my stash made by the lovely Heather Waldron and Christine Wormald! 🙂
Bit of a closie of the flowers!

Yep, our Sam went missing for 6 months in 2009 and I was sure he was gone, that someone had picked him up! As it turned out he was at our local pound and we didn’t know. I usually saw the local paper at work but missed it and got it on the way home, which I don’t normally do!!
Must have meant to be….. I got home, had my shower, sat down and had a look at the paper and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Sam in the paper with our local ranger appealing to the public to find his owner!! I was that excited I didn’t know what to do first as the pound was now shut for the weekend! I got on the phone, left a message and they got back to me! JJ and I went out Sat morning armed with a photo and 100% sure it was our Sam! He knew us straight away and that darn cat has not been far from home since!!
I have been meaning to get this photo scraped before this, but better late than never lol!
I used Heather’s first Mid Week sketch over at http://scrapysketches.blogspot.com.au/2013/01/mid-week-sketch-01-13.html to create my take on it! 🙂
A bit of a mix of Stampin up card stock and pp with a bit of twill and some chipboard! Another story told! 🙂

Apart from my OLW challenge I haven’t really had a scrap this yr so this is what I got up to yesterday!!!
“Sycamore Street” is the name of one of our new Designer Series Papers being released for our annual “Sale-A-Bration” Promotion which will be happening very soon!! With every $100 you spend on our gorgeous Stampin’ Up! products you get to choose a product free!
As it is our 25th Birthday this yr we are celebrating by giving you more freebies!! Stay tuned for more info coming very soon!
I chose these pattern papers as my ‘freebie’ as I love all our new papers coming out very soon! As a demonstrator, I get to see and use all the new products being released before they are seen by our customers! A great perk of the job! 🙂
I wanted to scrap the great fun day we had with mum when we took her out for her 75th Birthday in Nov 2012 and these papers were just the thing to use! Bright and happy!!!
I also had these two great pics of dad and my boys when dad went into care and I thought this pp suited these photos too with some masking using some dimensional paint, washi tape and stamping with my new clear stamp set Clockworks which I just love! 🙂 I had a go at Heather’s Surprise Jan Challenge over @ http://homeandscrapped.ning.com
Think I got a tad carried away doing the background but it was fun!!! If you click on the layouts you will get a better view!! 🙂
