I have joined in at UK Scrapper’s doing Shimelle Lane’s “Break It Down Class” It is 6 weeks of going stage by stage scraping 6 layouts with her and as they are up to week 3 I thought I had better get at least one done 🙂 The first week is to scrap ‘before and after’ photos! Each day she put a different stage of the layout up and you work along with her. I have really enjoyed making this layout of Trishka and telling a bit of her story.
I haven’t used any pattern paper on this one which is a change for me and I used two pics that I trimmed down a smidge. I used some stamping and washi tape for my background 🙂 As you can see she had a bit of an operation, but has come out the other side and has settled in well now with the rest of our ‘fur babies’ 🙂
Stay tuned as I hope to get another layout done some time this week 🙂

I seem to be posting all my Stampin’ Up! projects here for you to see and over at my website! Not to worry!
This is a Card Keeper I have made for mum’s birthday in November and it will have cards in it too for her! As she suffers from Alzheimer’s I am always trying to think of ways to help her remember! I thought this might help as it will have cards already in it for her and she wont be thinking she has missed birthday! 🙂
This is the front cover that I created for it and used this lovely piece of DSP from the Birds of a Feather Collection! As it was pretty busy I just added a title using Letter Press and the flower using the Blossom Punch!
These are the inside pages with one pocket for each month! I had some of the lovely Floral District collection left over and used it, but not quite enough for the covers! I just printed out some Calenders from a link over a Split coast Stampers!
To make it you need 6 sheets of 12×12 of co-coordinating pattern papers scored at 4″ then fold up to create the pockets. Fold in half to create the pages! Put the open side to be bound using ribbons or rings like I have done!
Print out your calenders and adhere to pockets!
Create covers a smidgen larger than your pages! I used some plain chipboard and covered them! Decorate as desired! 🙂

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Up to day 10 of October already!
This was a nice quick card to make, using some stamping to make the background with Versamark ink and then punching a banner and sewing some stitches to make the string! 🙂 Again using my sew it tool~ 🙂
This is the other Desk Organizer I have been working on for my cluttered work space! I used more of the same Kaiser paper pad and now it houses my cs, wheels, stamps etc!
Ok off to help my new demo do her first order which is exciting and then some more housework! Oh the joys! lol! 🙂
