“Busy, Busy!”

So much to do, so little time……….

That is how I am feeling at the moment, not enough hours in the day. Not that I mind but want to get a few things done. Nice to be back to normal time now, but do miss my late evening garden time lol!

I am really busy with my course and have had a fair bit of ‘homework’ to do! We do a module every week πŸ™‚ I am really enjoying it and it is very interesting. Met some lovely people too! πŸ™‚ I have also put my resume’ in for a job, will see what happens πŸ™‚

I haven’t had time to scrap, as my de-stash sale has been going great and have got rid of a lot of stuff. So glad it is going to new homes who will use it πŸ™‚ I will finally have my desk back and hope to scrap sometime this weekend πŸ™‚

Cody is turning ’21’ on Saturday and we are having a family lunch at the Austral Hotel on Sunday which will be a nice celebration for him πŸ™‚ I have been busily organizing presents and cake for the day πŸ™‚Β  He is my wonderful, strong, gorgeous son. Being so small when born to now, he has come a long way. I am so proud of him πŸ™‚

Mother’s Day is fast approaching in May too and I want to start a canvas with some family photos on it that I took at my aunty and uncles wedding anniversary πŸ™‚ Will put it on the wall for mum in her room and will hopefully cheer her up πŸ™‚ She forgets she has albums in her wardrobe, so she will be able to see these ones πŸ™‚

I hope to catch up with my OLW challenges and as part of my journey I had this bracelet made by Kristi Brandis at http://www.stampedon.com.au/Β Β  She made it to how I wanted it and I am so happy with it πŸ™‚

Hope to blog a bit more next week and maybe even have something creative to share with you πŸ™‚

“One Little Word -Feburary Challenge!”

So glad its Feb, that means another challenge for my One Little Word class with Ali Edwards!

This month was a surprise and I have really enjoyed doing my challenge! This month was to create an inspiration board about our word πŸ™‚ Cutting out from magazines things that appeal to us and arranging them in a collage as a layout or a canvas! I chose a canvas as it came up really great and will be cheerful on my wall πŸ™‚

As I don’t buy much in the way of magazine except scarp ones I used images from some old ones I had to show what inspires me to create! πŸ™‚

I love, story telling, family history, I am a product junkie, photography, journaling, artists and layouts! πŸ™‚ If you click on the image it will enlarge and give you a closer look!! I used Mod Podge to glue and seal it and finished with a border of Washi! πŸ™‚

How are you going with your one little word project?
