Mad About Scrappin Cyber Crop!

These two layouts are Cyber Crop Challenges from Mad About Scrappin!  The first one was a challenge for Sarah to get to know us all a little better! We had to incorporate two of her styles of scrapping and a photo of us on a lo! I used negative space and distressing which I love! I used a photo taken recently and one in 2008 when I had my longer hair! You can see the change!

The picture on the right  was for a Xmas challenge to use two patt paper, smaller photos, tearing and a rubon! I created this page about all the food we have in abundance at xmas time! The fridge full of goodies, Chocolate Ripple cake that I make for every ‘special’ occasion and the beautiful Trifle we make every year to remember Jasons mum!

These lo’s also go toward my use the stash challenge and now up to 7!

3 more layouts using “My Stash!”

These 3 layouts I created using “my stash”, using my older patt paper, vellum, chipboard, flowers, rubons etc! The top left was the March step by Step I completed with Mistra at Home and Scrapped. The one above was Heathers March sketch challange at H&S and the left bottom is the Mad About Scrappin Challenge1 for their C Crop this weekend! They were lots of fun and made me use some products I have negleted as I’m sure we all forget what’s in our stash! I have compled 5 of my 30 layouts I have comitted to making over at The Boxx Use your stash challenge!

“Jacqui’s Photo Swap Layouts!”

These are the two gorgeous layouts the very talented Jacqui Miles created for me in the Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin photos swap! They are of Jayden and Willo and I just love the colours and the pp she has used! Thanks sooo much Jacqu! You rock!!!

“Scrap Soup Week 3!’

I can’t believe I have made it to the Third week of the Scrapability  Sketches Soup Challenge! It is so much fun making a soup with the recipe that Bek gives us! For this one I had to use  the August Sketch, distress cs and photos and doodle on them, no loved ones on your lo, a one word title, use rubons choose 3 colours from th list and use a quote! (phew!) It was a doozy that’s for sure Bek but soooo much fun! Thanks!

These were a couple of the many photos I have of my mums rose garden! She has over 150 and I have  about a mere 50 odd! I have them in my blood and I blame my grandmother and mother for that! hehe!!

“First Driving Lesson!”

Cody had his first  “Driving Lesson today with me! He passed it last Tuesday with a score of 91%! I am very proud of him! We went out to the Saleyards where there is a nice quiet road and got him going! He was really good and is getting used to the clutch and accelorator of my car! He has to learn in a manual as he needs this for applying for the Police Force!  He has booked me it for the next lesson Wednesday night! I was very calm and actually excited about teaching him! I never lost my cool I think that has helped him gain his confidence! He wants me to get rid of my Pink Panther car seat covers! I don’t know why? heh! He said he was going to buy me some new ones! LOL!

What a Workshop!

Hi Girls,

What a great time we all had yesterday making these wonderful litttle albums! Even though my order didn’t arrive on time ( GRRR!!!)you came up with some exceptional work!

I hope our newest member to aur group Lisa enjoyed herself and will come again! Our kits should be here tomorrow so I will drop them around to you and email the instructions also!! All your photos were lovely and we managed to match them with papers and cardstock that I had on hand!

Our next workshop will be Sunday the 16hth May as we all have busy Aprils and I hope to be away on Long Service Leave over Easter!! We will be making the lovely Concertina Album Card which would make a lovely present and card in one to that someone special!

“Photo Swap Layouts!”

These two layouts I made for Jacqui Miles when I had a go at the Photo Swap Challenge at Aussie Girls Gone Scrappin!  The idea was you get a partner and send each other some photos you would like them to scrap for you! They then send the finished layouts back to you! I have had a sneek peek at the layouts Jacqui created of JJ and I can twait to see them! The lovely little girl on the left is Olivia and the lovely people in the right photo is Jacqui standing on the right with her family! I got the inspiration forthese layouts from Olivias clothes and flower in her hair and for the family one I used the colour in Jacqui’s shirt! I am pretty happy with these and they are now on their way to Tasmania!! Can’t wait to hear from her!
