“October Shipping Tag Swap Open!”

OK girls,

Thought we might do something a little different! Put your hands up if you would like to create  “Decorated Ship Tags” this month!!!

I will update the list on the side bar as you girls put your name down! Same as September, 20 tags and I will round robin them!

No theme, just what takes your fancy! You could do birds, flowers, journal, butterflies, whatever you have to stamp and embellish them with!   Make them as plain or busy as you like!

Sign up until the 10th of October and then tags to me before the end of October so I can get them back to you pronto!

I have nearly all September’s tags and will be sent out shortly!

Thanks girls and enjoy!

“Aussie Theme ATC Swap!’

These are my wonderful “Aussie Theme ATC’s I received in my ‘happy mail’ yesterday!

I joined another swap group and “Aussie’ Atc’s were what we had to create! I made my Blinky Bill for this one!

Aren’t they great! For a little time and a couple of stamps this is what you get in return from all the other talented ladies! I am soo hooked!

“My ATC Storage!”

Hi there,

Just wanted to show you how I store my ATC’s!

They are protected from dust and anything getting spilt on them, but you can still see them!

As it is ‘footy season’ I stocked up on some of the clear footy card collector holders! They are the same size as an ATC’s and they didn’t break the bank at 50 cents each!  I also have  spare ring album covers to decorate for them!  There are other ways to display your little works of art, but this one works fine for me!

“Postage Stamp Atc’s!”

These Atc’s I just made for Born 2 Create’s Nov Postage Theme ATc Swap!

I used the sticky tape transfer technique on the postage stamps to make them see through. I stamped the background with some stamps and various coloured inks. I then adhered the postage stamps to the atc and they became the focal point and I stamped a couple of my new ATC stamps  in black so they would stand out! I hope the girls like them!

Altered Book Pics!

I wanted to share with you the pages I created for my Altered Book about my Rose garden and different bit and pieces I have put into it! I showed the girls on “Sunday how to do a package tape transfer with photos and magazine pictures that gives you a see through effect! I masked with paint, inked pages, used ribbons, made tags and pockets, stamped, misted, and made the flower on the front cover, made a transparency, and used a heap of tags and embellishments I received through a few of the ‘swaps’ I have been involved with! I even did a fair bit of journalling too which was good ‘therapy’ also! This book is made with a lot of love for my garden, my mum’s invaluable advice, and my friends handmade bits and pieces! I am a bit of a rose addict and have about 50; I wish I had room for a paddock full of them! hehe!

I hope you enjoy browsing over my “ALTERED ART!” Now to my next book about our “Fur Family!”

If you click on the photos you will get a closer look at my work! Enjoy!
