I haven’t scraped a layout for about two weeks! Talk about ‘withdrawal symptoms; lol!
I used one of Heather’s great sketches to create a layout for the CC at the Boxx! I didn’t quite make it to scrap with the girls over the weekend but thought I would have a go at the awesome challenges the Dt put together!
The theme was Home Comforts. This was a challenge to scrap about the main bedroom in your house and why you like it so much! I wanted to make it soft and feminine even though it is in blue tones! I love blue and my patchwork comforter! Curling up in it and hiding from the world! lol!
I Glimmer misted the background, cut up some doilies and stamped a couple of images. Used some flowers and chippy! It’s not the most perfect room but it is mine and I love my doona!!!!
I am so over ‘printers!’ I just don’t seem to have any luck with them lately! Too much can go wrong with them!
I love typewriters; I think it’s because there is no fuss with them. Just put some paper in them and away you go!
I love being able to fit good amounts of journaling on my layouts but my handwriting takes up too much room! I do journal in my own hand but it is great to have a nice neat typed block on pages to!
I think that anyway! I jumped on Ebay and found this one that looked in great condition, made sure I could get replacement ribbons for it, offered the seller a ‘Buy It Now’ price and she was happy with it, so SOLD!!!!
I am sooo happy with it! It is in excellent working condition, has a lovely font and will keep me journaling for some time! It arrived this morning from Mt Martha and I have been brushing up on my typing skills! lol!
Yes, it is a little noisy, but to me it is a productive noise and I love the clang of the keys! That is the beauty of it; and now if I can just keep JJ off it that will be good!!! I love it and I will be able to get lots of words down now, on all the lovely Journal blocks I have from some swaps!
I have completed my Twinchie Canvas! As it was a fair size I decided to use it for both of the boys and it has come up really well!
I did some masking on the background with a Tim Holtz mask and some Glimmer Mist!
I cut all the Twinchies fromcereal boxes and covered them with pp and cardstock!
I embellished them with ribbon, twine, ink, stamps, metal, word stickers, bottle caps, charms and mesh! I added some photos of the boys through the yrs! I really enjoyed making this and it looks great hanging in the loungeroom! It is a great project to use photos that dont belong to a theme and get them scraped!
Thanks girls for your support and joining me in this fun swap!

I will update the Swap in the side-bar to let you know I have received them and when I have swapped and posted them back to you!
I hope you enjoy making them girls and any probs please let me know so we can have the swap run smoothly!
A couple of girls have commented on my blog that they would be interested in joining in a Twinchie Swap!
I thought a Vintage Theme would be fun, so you could use lace, butons, sewing, stamping, pp, images, ribbon, etc!
They are 2″ x 2′ squares made from a base of cereal box or chipboard then covered in pp or cs and decorated to our theme!
You would make 9 no matter how many sign up and you will recieved nine back. You mail them to me, I swap them, and you will receive 9 back!
They would look lovely on a layout or to make a little canvas to put in your scrap space!
I will put a message up in some formus and see how many are interested!
If you would like to join in just send me an email or leave a comment here!
If you have any probelms or questions please feel free to ask me!
Yep, you read right, I am only making one more order with Kaszazz!
A very good friend of mine recently told me that “I need to do whats best for me!’
So, I have decided to resign from Kaszazz and I will be doing one more order on Monday 18th April! It might seem sudden, but have been considering it for a few months!
I have a lot on my plate at the moment and I can’t put the time or effort into it to keep it going as I would like to! I feel I am spreading myself a bit thin and my heart hasn’t been in it for a while!
With dad unwell and in hospital, mum not coping either and JJ having troubles with his knee everything has become a bit overwhelming!
I have really enjoyed being with Kaszazz and they are a great company to be with! I have enjoyed the friendships I have formed with my customers and I thankyou for your ongoing support!
I will still be having a scrapbook session with the girls and am enjoying “just scrapping for me at the moment!!
If you would like to place and order before I finish up, jump on the Kaszazz Website or contact me to look at a Catalogue!
My email is email@example.com and phone is 03 2 315804
Thanks for your support over the last 16 months I have been with Kaszazz and before that with Stampin’ Up!
I have managed to do a little more work on Jayden’s Twinchie Canvas!
I have laid them all out on the the masked canvas and am now embellishing them with bits and pieces.
I am using some photos, ribbon, twine, metal, mesh, buttons etc! I am just getting it all balanced before I ink all their edges and attach themto the canvas!
I am really happy with its progress and then on to Codys!
