“My Scrap Room!”

I was playing around with the Hipstamatic App on my I phone and took a few pics of my scrap space when I shifted it! I used Sarah’s Flower Challenge to create this layout!

This was fun to make using some retired flocked paper from SU and making some muslin flowers! I am happy with the colors and the other bits I have added! 🙂

“Young Rocker!”

In between taking JJ over to a car show today and everything else us mum’s do I managed to finish Suzanne’s Technique Challenge over at our CC this weekend! You had to create your background in the theme of your pics!!

I really enjoyed making and stamping the background, adding some music theme pp and washi tape! JJ has been teaching himself to play the guitar as part of his Home School lessons! He is a natural! 🙂

“89th Layout!!”

I was curious how many layouts I have managed to create this year and with this one for the Step By Step I have done 89!!!!! The way things have been going lately I was thinking getting 50 done would be awesome!!

They are a mixture of different layout sizes for my Book Of Me, Project 365 and our Family albums!!

This one was a fun one of Sam as he is such “A Poser” when I get the camera out! lol!!

I did a quick card too, so I used up some of the left overs!

Don’t forget to hop on over for a peek at the great challenge Suzanne and Sarah have created!!

Home & Scrapped Cyber Crop!

This weekend is our Cyber Crop over at Home & Scrapped! There is a Step By Step for you to join in and create a layout from Heather’s steps that are up in the forum and some great challenges set by our DT members! You can hop on-line with us have a chat and scrap!! 🙂

My Challenge for you is to create a single or double page about food! Can be anything you like, a favorite recipe, a celebration what ever you want to scrap about!! The only criteria I would like you to include is to put your pattern paper and photos on an angle! 🙂

I did a double layout as I wanted to use these 4×6 photos to tell the story of how my boys love baking things ‘from scratch’ as they say! They loved helping mum when they were little and when she was able to bake. It has been a fun part of their life spent with their Gran, and I wanted to document it! I used a photo of JJ when he was about 4 and one of him kneading the scone dough when he was older! I included the photo of our ingredients with my cook book and the finished Scones! 🙂 I also added the recipe tucked in above one of the pics! 🙂

I used some retired Cooking theme pp from Stampin’ Up! called Domestic Goddess and I made a banner and some pin wheels, stitched a scollop border and misted a couple of paper doilies and stamped the title! 🙂

I also used the left overs to make another card!

I hope you hop on over and have a go at our challenges and get some scraping done this weekend! I hope to! 🙂

“A Tad Behind!”

All my greatest intentions don’t seem to pay off at the moment! I am have a few family issues and am a bit behind on my LOAD challenge!

I have scraped a couple of layouts for DT challenges and will be able to show you them shortly. Anyway have managed to do a couple more cards to add to the 18 or so that I have managed to get done! 🙂

This one was quite easy to make using a circle punch and some of the lovely 2012/14 In Color DSP Paper Stack!

I had fun with this one making the butterfly from the Blossom punch and using scraps from a layout!

“Day 17 & 18!”

A couple of quick cards for the LOAD challenge!

This one used Circle Circus, and some of the lovely Stitched Satin Ribbon that is available free this month!

For this one I used a couple of Builder Wheels to do the top part, added some dsp and some stamping!

“The Amazing Race-Stop 4!

I got a chance this arvo while it was quiet to catch up with my Amazing Race Stop #4. At the moment we are in Europe and I wold love one day to be able to go to Canada, so had to put my name down for this country!
The criteria for my layout was to use a larger than 4×6 photo, have movement on the page and some leaves!
I don’t have many big photos but as I was searching I found this gorgeous Pixie Photo of Cody aged 3 months! He was so small and he still looks ‘newborn’. I had to do this one!
This is mainly done with SU but I have used some Glimmer mist to mask the doilies from my race kit and used my big-shot to cut the different hearts! the cs, pp and ribbon is SU.
I am really pleased with the softness of this layout and how sweet the photo looks amongst all the hearts!
