Trying to catch up on a bit of blogging with a very busy week just gone and weekend! Caught up with my sister and family in Geelong on Saturday as my nephew is 18 today and the boys wanted to get together! Shame Cody had to work but we all had a great day!
This layout I didn’t feel up to doing on Friday nite with the girls at Home and Scrapped so I had a go at it yesterday! It has been so wet and cold I have been hiding! lol!!
Dad is very independent and wont ask for help but he as had a great neighbour doing his lawns, then Cody said he would do them for him! Of course just after Cody started mowing them for Papa he got his job and now dad’s neighbour is helping out again! He had great intentions but it didn’t quite work out! I know Papa appreciated his help!
I wanted to document this so I did this layout of dad out with Cody giving the directions! lol! He can’t help himself!
The boys have a wonderful relationship with their grand dad and I want to make sure they remember all the great times withe him!!
I used some SU products for this one and a few male themed embellies!! I am really enjoying making my own! I joined in a swap for a Male embellishment theme this month, and I forgot to photograph them before I sent them to Heather today! Doh!! I made some pinwheels, cut out some cogs and some baby animals!! 🙂

Challenge Inc is now “LIVE” and I can finally reveal my DT layout to you!
My challenge for June is to use the letter A and the number 1 somewhere on your layout! The criteria is you must use a border punch to create a border!
Some pics of Pam and I! I used all SU products and made all the flowers!! If you want to know how I made them, why not book a workshop, invite a few friends and earn some FREE products! 🙂
A bit of a close up of the flowers I made!! Hope you will hop over and have a go at our challenges! Heather’s sketch is up, Becci’s challenge and mine!!

Good Evening all, I have had a little time to have a bit of a scrap and I have made some Post It Note Holders for my Door Prizes at next weeks scrap workshop!
They were quite easy to make from this tutorial at Chic’n Scratch! Angie is a very clever SU demo in the USA! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSrNmafj9-c
I used some Whisper White as the base and then some scraps of different DSP to make them!! They were fun and they make great gifts for teacher’s, Mums day etc!
Hope you have a go at making them!

I was sitting here last nite pondering what I wanted to scrap and I found this layout that someone had created about being Grateful! I really like the design of the layout and wanted to document my boys in my BOM!
I apologize to the lady who created this as I didn’t take note of where I found it!!:)
I loved the little photo on the side and the paper strips is what caught my eye to it!
My scrap lift has turned out very different but you can still see the design!
I turned mine horizontal and as I stamped my title a bit bigger it didn’t quite gel long ways!!
This is a pic of my boys and I wanted them to know how grateful and lucky I am to have them everyday! They make me laugh and cry and bring me so much happiness!!
I used an a4 Cake Crumb base and strips of DSP scraps left over from other layouts! I stamped and inked and sewed a bit to make it more a male themed layout!

That is what I am trying to do this year! I have seen my mum struggle with weight issues and arthritis and I am determined to get healthy and hopefully be able to get around better when I am mum’s age!!
This layout is for my “Book Of Me” documenting my efforts with my walking with my friend and her encouragement to keep me going through this colder weather! On my own I seem to not do so well over the Winter and we are going well! I have been walking with Pam about 4 months and it is great! I am eating well and watching what I eat and feeling so great after our exercise!! As the Winter closes in and it is colder and wetter we have decided to have a go at Zumba! Our first go was such a laugh but I think the next time I will be ok!! lol!!
I have used all Stampin’ Up! on this layout except the Dymo labels!
