I seem to be creating more Stampin Up projects at the moment as I have another class on Tuesday showing some ladies how to heat emboss! I love our new 2012/2014 In Colours and I have used them to create these cards! I am not big on heat embossing but thought I had better have a refresher course!!
These cards I stamped with the Pappillion Potpourri stamp set with Versamark then used the white emboss powder! The card stock is Cake Crumb and Midnight Muse with the matching ink!
I love the gorgeous butterflies in this set and they look great embossed!
For this one I used Summer Star Fruit and Raspberry Ripple Cardstock and inks , with the matching ink and Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set! The large blossom looks gorgeous heat embossed!!
If you like these cards and would like to learn this technique just let me know and you can have your own class!!

Last night I was over at The Boxx chatting with the lovely Mary Bennetts who is a Design Team member over at the new challenge blog called http://orangepaperieandco.blogspot.com.au/. Also their lovely guest designer Cheryl O’Brien was catching up with us also! They are lovely girls and they live in Orange NSW with the gorgeous Kim Ewins and the lovely Annette Edmonds!
I haven’t had a chance to do one of their fab challenges yet, so while we were gas bagging I created this layout of Cody using Annette’s September Recipe Challenge!! It was lots of fun! I got a bit messy and grungy and am very happy with this layout!
This is Cody, just like his mum on the phone! Yep he does have a mobile but only uses it for work! lol!
Annette’s Recipe is to use:
1 black and white pic
and a two-word title
I had fun doing some distressing, using some ink and paint and get a bit messy!! I used some washi tape and some Twiddleybitz chipboard and one of their masks!
Why don’t you hop on over have a look at their gorgeous work and have a go at Annette’s challenge!!

I had a great time as I said on the weekend and the girls were so inspiring! I would have been happy to get one layout done, but 8 omg! lol!! I thought I took too much stuff, but oh no I really should have taken more! hehe!
Yep, there was only 9 of us but the mess there would have been heaps more! lol
This was the first one I worked on using some Washi Tape and some pics of Willo making herself at home on my bed!! I used some SU card stock and the flowers and hearts were made by Becci Sunberg!
This one is one of Heather’s great sketches! I used SU card stock and wheeled the paw prints. I made the heart free hand and just pleated the Choc Chip satin ribbon around it!! I love these pics of Sam!
This is another of Heather’s sketches! The last of my roses! All SU!
There was a lot of red to deal with in these photos and I wasn’t sure what to do with these pics! I used some washi and some white punched borders! The banner in some blue and some trim!!
These pics of the boys chatting at the Ford Day I had to scrap! So good seeing them talk to each other!! I used SU background and card stock! I used a couple of masks and some washi to make the banner!
This pic is of J J, Kaitlyn and Adam on the school holidays! They have been friends since prep! I didn’t want it too girls so did some masking misting and stamping!! I made the pinwheel and lollipops. Eb gave me the cogs, flags and butterfly! 🙂This is me up till all hours in my own little world! lol! I love the peace and quiet!
Had to scrap these pics of a life long family friend of mum’s! Aunty Val is like a second mum to me and I enjoyed doing this one! I had a go at altering the chipppy leaves with some paste and ink! 🙂

Good Evening all, I have had a little time to have a bit of a scrap and I have made some Post It Note Holders for my Door Prizes at next weeks scrap workshop!
They were quite easy to make from this tutorial at Chic’n Scratch! Angie is a very clever SU demo in the USA! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSrNmafj9-c
I used some Whisper White as the base and then some scraps of different DSP to make them!! They were fun and they make great gifts for teacher’s, Mums day etc!
Hope you have a go at making them!

I have a Stampin’ Up! workshop on Wednesday and I am going to teach my group of ladies how to create some paper flower embellishments. We will be using DSP, card-stock and some punches!
These flowers are fairly easy to create and make it budget friendly to add flowers to your pages! I love all the flowers on the market but not the price of them!!
As Stampin’ Up! has such a great range of Designer Series Papers and wonderful punches it’s quite easy!!
I have made some of my Grunge Flowers with the Scallop Punch and some Lollipops withe a Circle Punch! I have also used the Triple Doiley Punch and also made a few Rolled Roses by hand! The larger ones are made with some strips of DSP grunged up and I made a Folded Flower also known as a Medallion!!
I made these from my scrap stash but the girls will be using our gorgeous Well Worn DSP to create a Heritage Style page! 🙂

I am loving this class and the sketches are wonderful. You can make them plain or jazz them up bit! This is my version of #4 which was a double 8.5×11 layout and I made it a 12×12 as I had a few bigger photos to use!
I don’t usually scrap these colors but I do have a few purple shirts in these photos! I used some older Kaiser papers and some flowers to match, which I was lucky enough to get from Sarah in a flower swap! I also included an April challenge from Challenge Heaven on it also! Kim’s chall was to use a transparency. I cut up some clear packaging and used that, then I stamped the clock in Black Stazon! it gives you a clear element to your pages!!
These pics are just of things that I do to relax and unwind! You need some down- time “Renew” your body and soul!! Being so busy and a mum we all need it!!
I love scrapping of course, having a coffee out for a change, walking, blog hoping, crochet or sewing, going to a market and my garden!!
What do you do for your ‘me time’?
