“Cousins are….”

As I got three loads of washing done and on the line and the boys were away for the day, I decided to use up the scraps from the canvas and create this layout!

009These pics of my cousins and I are great to have and scrap! John, Anthea, Loris and Marilyn were always there for Alison and I growing up. Sadly, Gary our closest cousin was taken way to soon. 😦 They always had time for us when we stayed with them and when we visited. Even though we don’t see a lot of each other we are still close. It was a great part of our childhood and we are still great friends 🙂

“Blind Scrap”

I joined in over @ http://www.scrapbooksavvy.com.au/store2/ in the forum for a Blind Scrap!

What is a Blind Scrap you say? It is a scrap on-line, following directions, with no photos and getting a page scraped!! Lots of fun and Sarah Ward’s instructions were wonderful and I am so happy with my page! Now to see if mine is anything like how the other girl’s layouts turn out that joined in also 🙂

We can post our photos today, but Sarah in keeping us in suspense with her layout until later in the week!! 🙂

004-001

I used some pp, card stock and embellies from a kit by Deja’ Views, called a\A Cat’s Life and they are lovely! 🙂

With all the lovely layering on this I didn’t want to overload with embellies, so just used what Sarah suggested 🙂 This is a photo of our ‘newbie’ Trishka around Xmas time last yr when she was hurt and needed an operation! She has settled in really well, and she has made herself quite at home! Another one to spoil!

“89th Layout!!”

I was curious how many layouts I have managed to create this year and with this one for the Step By Step I have done 89!!!!! The way things have been going lately I was thinking getting 50 done would be awesome!!

They are a mixture of different layout sizes for my Book Of Me, Project 365 and our Family albums!!

This one was a fun one of Sam as he is such “A Poser” when I get the camera out! lol!!

I did a quick card too, so I used up some of the left overs!

Don’t forget to hop on over for a peek at the great challenge Suzanne and Sarah have created!!

“A Tad Behind!”

All my greatest intentions don’t seem to pay off at the moment! I am have a few family issues and am a bit behind on my LOAD challenge!

I have scraped a couple of layouts for DT challenges and will be able to show you them shortly. Anyway have managed to do a couple more cards to add to the 18 or so that I have managed to get done! 🙂

This one was quite easy to make using a circle punch and some of the lovely 2012/14 In Color DSP Paper Stack!

I had fun with this one making the butterfly from the Blossom punch and using scraps from a layout!

“LOAD- DAY11!”

It is very cold and wet here today! Good card making weather! lol! Just thought I would pop this up before I go and do mums groceries!

This card was a quick one to. I just fussy cut a few of the flowers on my scraps, added some ribbon, bit of washi and a sentiment! 🙂 The white doily looked quite effective on the black!

Stay tuned for tomorrows I have been playing with my new stamps! 🙂

“Show & Tell!”

I had the urge to scrap last night at 10pm! lol!! I wanted to have a go at Heather’s Mid Week Sketch # 36 and my layout wouldn’t go to plan! For some reason circles sort of throw me?

This is Heather’s fun sketch which I converted to my smaller size. 🙂

These were a couple of photos of J in Yr 5 and they had a special day for pets! Of course we had to bring Willo! she was pretty nervous and had a couple of little accidents but nothing phased JJ and the kids loved her! 🙂

I used a choc- chip base for this layout and some scraps of some October Afternoon, Science Fair papers that I have loved to create this one! 🙂 I just made a few pinwheels and used and cut an embellie from the pp!

“A Bit Of A Scrap!”

I went over to Heather’s Sketch blog for a peek yesterday and found this lovely sketch of hers over there!

I used it to create this layout for mum, Cody and Crystal when they were only 6-12 months old!! They are nearly 20 now! Where has that time gone. They are wonderful young adults!

I used all SU except the couple of Twiddleybitz flourishes!

I only had a few scraps left over from making the flowers and bits etc so I made this small 4×4 Than you note card!
